Services

I distinguish myself as a professional interpreter dedicating my time and energy
to respond to my clients' specific wishes and concerns.

Simultaneous

Interpreting

Simultaneous interpreting means that the interpreter translates what is spoken into the desired target language almost simultaneously. Since this requires increased concentration, we always work in a team to allow for a break.

Depending on the order, either an interpreting booth with a mixing console or a tour guide system (PFA) is required, as well as headphones and receivers for the target audience.

A third option is whisper interpreting, but this is only possible for one to a maximum of is recommended for three participants.

Consecutive

Interpreting

If there is only one language that needs to be interpreted, you can use consecutive interpreting.

No special interpreting technology is required. The interpreter stands next to the speaker with a notepad and interprets the speech in sections for the entire audience.

If you are having a conversation with a small group of participants, there is also the option of interpreting. The interpreter sits between the conversation partners and interprets back and forth in both languages.

Translation

(Live) Subtitling/
Speech-to-text Interpreting

If you need a translation or subtitling, I am also the right person to contact.

I have plenty of experience in this area and have a professional subtitling program.

Live subtitling or written interpreting serves the inclusion of deaf people or people with hearing impairments.  It therefore offers accessibility at events, online events and on television.

In addition to my freelance experience as a live subtitler and text interpreter, I have been working for the radio station rbb for several years in live subtitles for news or other broadcast formats (press conferences, consumer magazines, etc.).
and also subtitle pre-produced videos for the deaf there.
